The year 2024 marks the next step towards electromobility. Virtually all major manufacturers already offer electric cars. New automotive releases are almost always fully electric or advanced hybrids. It seems the era of combustion-powered vehicles is slowly coming to an end, and the new cars coming out in 2024 confirm this.

Citroën e-C3

Among the French manufacturer's top-of-the-line cars, the C3 accounted for 29 percent of Citroen's sales volume in Europe and a whopping 11 percent of the entire European B-segment market in 2022. The electric Citroen C3 is the first fully electric B-segment hatchback designed and manufactured in Europe. It will be equipped with an 83 kW/113 hp electric motor and a 44 kWh LFP battery, providing a range of up to 320 km. Customers can choose between the entry-level You and the more equipped Max models. The entry-level Citroen e-C3 will cost from PLN 110,000, and the top-of-the-line version from PLN 132,000.

Skoda Kodiaq Sportline

In October, Škoda unveiled the second-generation Kodiaq in the Sportline trim. The refreshed model features a bold front end and a generous amount of black accents. The dark interior features the Sportline Design Selection trim. The new Škoda Kodiaq Sportline is equipped with a multifunction sports steering wheel, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10-inch central screen. Volkswagen Tiguan

The refreshed Volkswagen Tiguan is built on a new platform offering improved driving comfort and a longer battery range. It now boasts a larger trunk and interior, and is available with four different powertrains, including a Plug-In hybrid version that allows for a range of up to 100 km (62 miles) on electric power alone. The refreshed Volkswagen Tiguan is equipped with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. It's worth noting that the German manufacturer has completely discontinued manual transmissions. New 2024 models of this model series are expected to go on sale at the beginning of the year.

Toyota Hilux in the GR SPORT II version

In the coming year, Toyota's lineup will be expanded with a new version of the iconic Hilux. The GR SPORT II model will be more comfortable and feature numerous sporty details, a nod to the brand's Dakar Rally successes. The car is equipped with, among other things, the latest Toyota SMART Connect multimedia system with built-in navigation and the option to remotely update system settings without the need for a physical visit to a service center. It is equipped with the familiar 2.8-liter 204 HP/150 kW engine and automatic transmission. The body's aerodynamics have been improved, and the suspension has been modified. Sales of the new Toyota Hilux are expected to begin in the first half of next year.

Toyota COROLLA

If you're looking for automotive news, Toyota doesn't disappoint. The refreshed Toyota COROLLA is already available for purchase, and the first 2024 cars will be delivered to customers early next year. Among the model's recent changes, the SMART Digital Key and a brand-new Panasonic air conditioning system are particularly noteworthy, ensuring cleaner and safer air inside the car. The 2024 Toyota COROLLA will also be available in new, vibrant colors, such as Super Green metallic, which will be paired with a black roof on the Hatchback and TS Kombi. Buyers of the GR SPORT trim can expect additional attractive color accents, especially with the higher equipment package.

Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5

The refreshed ID.4 and ID.5 models are now available for purchase and order. The 2024 cars are equipped with, among other things, a new version of the infotainment system and software, which is expected to translate into more intuitive operation. Furthermore, the Pro and GTX versions will be equipped with new, more powerful but proportionally lower energy consumption engines, previously only available in the ID.7. Among other things, Volkswagen has improved the DCC adaptive suspension control system, which is expected to provide a better balance between comfort and driving dynamics.

Volkswagen Passat B9

For classic car enthusiasts, Volkswagen has prepared a modified version of the Passat. The Passat B9 combines the comfort of a large car, the economy of an electric city car, and the aesthetics of a sports car, thanks in part to a new suspension. Three trim levels will be available: Business, Elegance, and R-line. As for new releases, the Volkswagen Passat B9 is certainly a pleasant surprise. The car is equipped with a new generation of adaptive chassis control and vehicle dynamics manager. The Passat B9 will be available with seven engine options, with a particular emphasis on hybrids, but you can still order cars equipped solely with combustion engines. The new Passat in Poland could cost over 180,000 PLN. It will be launched in February 2024.

MERCEDES-Benz CLE Coupe

Among the highlights are the Scenic's optional equipment with adaptive interior lighting, an auto-dimming sunroof, and a welcome sound. For now, the car will be available in two power outputs: 170 HP and 220 HP.

Lexus LS

Luxury enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the best cars of 2024 will certainly find the Lexus LS compelling. This refreshed version of the Lexus flagship features features such as a virtual cockpit and a new, functional 10-inch head-up display on the windshield. Standard equipment includes a digital rearview mirror, an inductive charger, and an improved tailgate with a kick function. The smart key system is also new. The 2024 LS features improved exhaust mounts, steering column mounts, and air suspension, which is now standard equipment. The fifth-generation Lexus LS is equipped with a Multistage Hybrid drivetrain with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. In Poland, the model is offered in four trim levels: Elegance, F SPORT, Prestige, and Omotenashi. The base price of the Lexus LS starts at PLN 570,000.
