16-inch 5x118 alloy wheels

The American equivalent ( Ram ProMaster ) has different PCDs depending on the year/version – verification before purchase is essential.

5x118 16" – what does this notation actually mean?

“16” is the rim diameter in inches – the size of the rim on which the tire is mounted.
"5x118" describes the mounting method: the rim has 5 holes arranged evenly on a 118mm diameter circle (this is PCD – Pitch Circle Diameter ). In practice: it fits a hub with five bolts/studs, the axes of which form a 118mm circle.

Want to check it yourself? For 5-hole rims, measure from the center of one hole to the outer edge of the diagonal hole and compare it to the PCD table – for 5x118, the result will be closer to 118 mm.
