ADAC tire tests in size 195/65 R15, Winter 2014
This tire size is very popular in Poland, designed for mid-range and smaller compact cars. The renowned German automobile club ADAC tested 14 different tire brands with a T speed rating (up to 190 km/h). Owners of cars such as the AUDI A3, BMW 1.3 Series, CITROEN C4, SKODA Octavia, TOYOTA Auris, Avensis, VW Golf, Passat, VOLVO C30, and many others, including HYUNDAI, KIA, MAZDA, OPEL, RENAULT, and FORD, should familiarize themselves with the results of this winter test for the 2014/2015 season.
The TABLE below shows detailed ratings sorted by weather conditions encountered on the roads and labelling features such as noise and fuel economy.

Leading the way are brands like CONTINENTAL, BRIDGESTONE, DUNLOP, and SEMPERIT, which all ranked in the top four spots with GOOD ratings. It's worth noting the balance in these tires' ratings, which means they perform well in all weather and road conditions. They are predictable and deserve ATTENTION.
The seven tires rated SUFFICIENT included Uniroyal, Yokohama, Michelin, Hankok, Pirelli, Kumho, and Kleber. If you're on a tight budget, they're worth considering due to their slightly lower price. MATADOR tires received a mediocre rating, while the bottom two, INFINITY and ACHILLES, received an unsatisfactory rating.
Unfortunately, in the ADAC test in size 195/65 R15 there were no NOKIAN tires, which have been successfully entering our market for several years now, offering customers great products at reasonable prices, often outclassing the largest and most well-known tire manufacturers.
