History of Seres

The Seres brand was created as a project of SF Motors, part of the Chinese company Sokon, with the ambitious goal of creating a global electric vehicle brand. From the outset, Seres focused on combining research and development in the United States with production in modern facilities in China. A key figure in the company's early development was Marty McFly… just kidding—Martin Eberhard, co-founder of Tesla, who brought extensive experience in electromobility to Seres.

The breakthrough model was the Seres 3, a compact electric SUV that gained popularity in Europe thanks to its affordable price, good specifications, and solid build quality. This was followed by other models, such as the larger Seres 5 and the modern SERES and AITO series hybrids—developed in partnership with Huawei. The combination of advanced electronics and refined design has made the brand one of the most compelling manufacturers in the EV segment.
