HAXER - New, even stronger rims now available in our store :)
We are pleased to announce that our already extensive range of aluminum rims has recently been expanded with flow-formed rims, which offer even greater durability and reduced weight. We will explore the production method for these rims and explain why they are worth investing in.
For some time now, we've been receiving numerous inquiries about the availability of forged wheels, which offer excellent impact resistance and above-average vehicle weight. In response to these requests, we've decided to expand our product range with flow-formed wheels, which offer excellent deformation resistance while also being lighter than standard-production wheels. Flow-forming offers the perfect balance between durability and price.
This technology is one of the most modern used in the production of aluminum components and is based on the application of pressure to which the formed rim is subjected, which is simultaneously heated to a high temperature.
In the first step, a preformed aluminum disc is placed on a machine that creates a rotating motion, during which pressure from a pressing roller exerts pressure on the inner part of the rim. This process continues for a certain period of time, stretching and simultaneously densifying the aluminum particles. Below is a video demonstrating the production of flow-forming rims.
Durability tests indicate that a rim made using flow-forming technology is approximately 20% more impact-resistant than a standard rim. The same difference can be observed in the number of impacts the rim can withstand before failure. In other words, we'll be able to cover more kilometers before our wheel fails.
It's easy to see that the entire flow-forming production process is closely associated with forged wheel production. This not only achieves ideal strength but also reduces weight, which is one of the key advantages of aluminum wheels. It's worth noting that using such wheels will not only improve your car's handling but also provide the added benefit of slower wear on suspension and brake components. We invite you to explore our Haxer wheel range, which we particularly recommend to those who enjoy low-profile tires and those who appreciate driving on the poor-quality roads of which there are many in our country.
