The car shares the floor panel (MLB 2) with the latest generations of Audi A4 and A8. The Q7 is only available with a two-wheel drive version with TorSen central differential. Unlike its predecessor, the new Q7 is much lighter due to the use of high-strength steel and aluminum. The vehicle received a virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch LCD screen just like the third generation of the TT model. This screen can display traditional indicators, on-board computer, multimedia system and navigation system. The new car buyer has three types of headlights to choose from: xenon, LED and Matrix LED. The car is also available in the hybrid version of the Q7 E-tron Quattro Plug-in.
