Audi R8 FL - facelift of the R8 model, which was introduced in 2012. The car has undergone a series of visual and technical changes, mainly improving existing solutions.
History Audi R8 FL
The dummy grille and the entire front bumper have been redesigned along with the headlights and LED lights. Rear lights were slightly modified and it was decided to integrate the round tailpipes into the new rear bumper. With technical changes, the car is equipped with a new dual-clutch transmission with seven S-tronic gears, replacing the R-tronic. Also presented a more powerful version of the R8 plus, which had 550 hp, becoming the fastest version of this car. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h was 3.5 s. The end of 2012 was also the entry of the R8 e-tron version, which uses only two electric motors as the drive. The power of such a solution oscillates at 380 HP with a maximum speed of 820 Nm. This allowed the car to accelerate to "a hundred" in 4.2 s, and the maximum speed was electronically limited to 200 km / h. Interestingly, fully charged batteries allowed to travel 215 km. The new versions of the vehicle have also met with a new solution for using the lightest body building materials (ASF). The new body called Multimaterial Space Frame assumed the use of carbon fibers in combination with an aluminum skeleton.
