Opel Astra K is manufactured by the American group GM under the Opel brand. This is the successor to Astra J. The car was presented in September 2015. at the Motor Show in Frankfurt. In February of the following year, the station wagon production began. The vehicle belongs to the C segment and is a competitor of min. for Golf VII. It is produced in Gliwice (Poland) and Ellesmere Port (England).
History Opel Astra K
Astre K (V-fifth generation) are distinguished by creases and sharp lines that give this model aggressiveness. The roof of the vehicle goes backwards camouflaging the rear pillars which is a characteristic element. In terms of security, it has five Euro NCAP stars. The car with the most powerful 1.6-liter gasoline engine was topped up with a turbine reaching 200HP. Bi-Turbo has been used in the 160 HP diesel engine. There are three gearboxes to choose from: manual 5 and 6 speed, semi-automatic with the same number of gears and automatic 6 speed, which transferred the drive to the front wheels. For the basic version of the equipment, we can also equip the vehicle with an audio system with a 7-inch touch screen and 4.6 speakers, a leather multifunction steering wheel, a rain sensor, and parking sensor. From the external appearance, we have IntelliLux LED front lights or a chrome radiator grille.
