The official presentation took place in Stockholm in May 2017. In automotive jargon she is called the younger or smaller sister of Skoda Kodiaq. The modern body line and the spotlights highlighting the sport style with LED technology can interest every pedestrian. A growing number of customers are looking for universal cars and Skoda Karoq certainly belongs to this group. A high position behind the wheel increases visibility and significantly improves comfort during night driving with constant dazzle by cars driving from the opposite direction; high ground clearance works well in winter conditions during trips out of town or on badly snowed city alleys; relatively small dimensions make it easier to park the car in a place where larger cars with similar specifications would require a lot of attention during the maneuver. The interior of the Skoda Karoq is spacious and comfortable. A large screen in the center of the cockpit, three knobs and a large number of buttons are the "command center" of Skoda Karoq. The basic version is quite richly equipped and includes, among others parking sensors, rain and dusk sensor, keyless entry system, dual-zone air conditioning, hill start assist system and more. For an additional fee, we can equip the model with a heated windscreen, additional USB ports, an electrically raised tailgate or an electrically opened panoramic roof. The Skoda Karoq engine range is opened by a 3-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 999 cubic cm and 115HP. The use of such a small unit in a car with a minimum weight of 1400kg is quite a risky move by the manufacturer and with a high degree of probability it can be concluded that a potential customer will choose a more powerful engine. The second proposal is a 1.5 unit with a capacity of 150KM. The proposition of diesel engines looks much better because there are 1.6 and 2.0 capacities to choose from with 115 (for 1.6), 150 and 190HP.
