The car can seat five people, but it can be seven people by placing a folding additional two seats in the trunk floor. Most of the body parts are galvanized, thanks to which it is much more durable. Touran I Facelift was carried out in 2006. The shape of the headlights at the front and rear and the front bumper has changed. The standard equipment includes 6 airbags, ESP and ABS. The facelift version is richer with air curtains, ASR and on-board computer. The car can optionally be equipped with many other additional systems and gadgets, including in an eight-speaker audio system or parking sensors. In 2010, the second generation of Touran was created. Stylistically, it is very similar to the previous generation, but it was built on a completely new design based on the sixth generation VW Golf.
