Anti-theft screws – protect your rims against theft
A set of conical security bolts with a 28 mm thread length, designed for aluminum or steel rims (depending on the car model). Security bolts are the simplest way to protect your wheels from theft . Each set features a unique socket design that can only be removed with a dedicated adapter. Security bolts are special mounting elements used instead of standard bolts – one bolt per wheel is sufficient . This makes it more difficult for thieves to remove the rims.
Bolts are a small investment, but they significantly increase security. But remember! Even the best security measures aren't hackable, as professionals may have tools that can eventually break locks. Anti-theft accessories increase the barrier of entry – they're meant to discourage amateur thieves, prolong the theft, and increase the risk of being caught.
The set includes: ✅ 4 x security screw, ✅ 2 x socket (for key 19 or 21).
Chrome-plated security screws with a hardness class of 10.9
Our security screws are coated with a thin layer of chrome – a solution that combines functionality with aesthetics. They are perfect for applications where appearance, high gloss, and scratch resistance are important.
In the automotive and aviation industries, where safety is paramount, screws with higher hardness classes are used. These screws are manufactured in hardness class 10.9 , which guarantees excellent mechanical and physical parameters, such as high tensile strength and high resistance to deformation . Screw hardness is standardized in Poland by the PN-M-82084 standard, which distinguishes 10 hardness classes (min. 3.6, max. 12.9). The higher the number, the stronger and harder the screw. This means you can be sure that anti-theft screws are safe to use when installing your rims .
How to choose locking bolts for rims?
Bolts must be properly matched to the vehicle and rim. When replacing bolts with non-factory bolts, you should follow the vehicle and rim manufacturer's specifications. Depending on the model, the rim may have a conical socket, a spherical socket, or a flat washer. Check the socket on your rim and select the appropriate bolts:

Practical assembly tips
➡ Wrench size for tightening the screws – 19 or 21. Adapters are included in the kit. ➡ Remove one standard mounting bolt from each wheel. Screw in the locking bolts in place . Do not use grease or copper on the threads or mounting surface. ➡ It's best to tighten the bolts using a torque wrench , which ensures the correct clamping force. The manufacturer's recommended wheel tightening torque can be found in your vehicle's owner's manual. ➡ Remember to tighten the wheels crosswise to evenly distribute the tightening force. ➡ Undertightening the bolts can cause the steering wheel to vibrate. Ignoring this can lead to the bolts loosening and the wheel falling off. Overtightening the bolts can damage the threads. ➡ After driving 100 km, check their tightening force again to see if the screws have not become loose .
