  1. The pre-cast rim is placed on the mold and then set in motion.
  2. Under the influence of high temperature and roller pressure, the rim gradually gains shape and strength.

We offer a high-quality product thanks to the use of Flow Forming technology , and the use of BLHM - BLACK HALF MATT paints to finish the rims, which are corrosion-resistant and do not react with aggressive road substances. This applies to rims without polished elements - powder-coated in a solid color. Information about the finish can be found in the product specifications.

The production process of Smitherim wheels ends with a series of tests, during which numerous tests are conducted. Only alloy wheels that have passed all the following tests are introduced to the market:

Flow Forming

Load capacity: defines the maximum load in kilograms per single vehicle wheel. This parameter is directly related to the vehicle’s GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight), as the minimum load capacity of one rim should be at least one quarter of the vehicle’s GVW.

4 identical: the set consists of 4 identical rims, suitable for installation on all wheels of the vehicle.


Mixed: the set includes 2 rims intended for the front axle and 2 for the rear, taking into account possible differences in ET parameters or rim width.

Variant (width)

Mixed option: on the front axle of the vehicle we have a different rim/tire width and offset (ET) compared to the rear axle. This is a solution used by car manufacturers such as BMW (x-drive), Porsche, and Mercedes (4matic). For larger wheel sizes such as 21 or 22, the car manufacturer usually provides only the mixed option. For smaller sizes – as a winter option – 4 identical.

The working shape of the screw head, must correspond to the shape of the mounting hole made in the rim. We distinguish between spherical( spherical), conical or flat sockets for flat rim holes. The standard is a cone with an angle of 60 degrees
